Le Real Madrid recevait à Santiango Bernabeu, l'Apoel Nicosie et s'est imposé largement sur le score de 3-0. Grâce notamment à sa pépite le portugais Cristiano Ronaldo qui a signé un doublé 12' et 51 (p). L'autre but madrilène est l'œuvre de Sergio Ramos 51'.
